SMS Staffing is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Material Handler in Waukegan, IL. The role involves moving and staging materials in a fast-paced metal stamping environment, maintaining inventory as items move from assembly to warehouse.

The position pays $20.00/hour on the 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and is Temp-to-Hire. Responsibilities include material movement, cycle counts, and safety compliance, with PPE required.

Qualifications

• Reading and comprehension of all required warehouse paperwork.
• Knowledge of inventory control process.
• High level of attention to detail for proper documentation to maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Must be able to obtain license for forklift.
• Ability to use and operate handcarts, pallet jacks and order pickers.
• Proficient with computers to reference inventory counts.

Responsibilities

• Move material from the warehouse to the production lines.
