Job Description

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Warehouse Material Handler for a company based in Ruskin, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing distribution of appliances.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. Must be able to work weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Unload appliances, including refrigerators and dishwashers, as well as mattresses and cabinets using a dolly.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
• Break down appliance boxes for easier handling.
• Assemble cabinets and load them onto trailers for delivery.
• Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
