Job summary

Balanced Body, in Sacramento, seeks a dedicated Shipping Associate to coordinate domestic and international shipments and support the sales team. You will be the operational backbone of the shipping department, ensuring accurate handling and timely delivery.

You’ll load, unload, pick, pack and label products while maintaining safety standards and strong organization. You’ll work cross-functionally with customers, peers, and the sales team to keep goods moving reliably.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse facility management and order processing.
• Forklift experience is preferred and helpful for handling freight.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50–75 lbs comfortably.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Willingness to learn and perform additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Keep our goods moving. You'll be the operational backbone of the Balanced Body shipping department — coordinating domestic and international shipments, and working cross-functionally with customers and our sales team to get the job done right, every time.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day shipping operations with precision and consistency
• Loading and unloading - move freight, packages and materials
• Order preparation - Pick, pack and label products so they are ready for shipping
• Communicate proactively with customers, peers, and the sales team
• Maintain high accuracy and strong organizational standards throughout
• Follow all established safety protocols — always
• Take on additional duties as the team needs

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.

• Clean and organize warehouse, equipment, and items in stock;
• Pull materials against orders, then assemble and pack them for delivery;
• Maintain and document equipment, security, and safety information;
• Review incoming and outgoing shipments and update stock records to ensure availability of items;
• Experience in warehouse facility;
• Forklift experience is highly desired;
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50-75 Ibs.;
• Knowledge of MS Office is preferred;
• Knowledge of shipping documents is preferred;
• Knowledge of FedEx shipment processing is preferred;
• Excellent written and verbal communications;
• Able to prioritize tasks independently and meet deadline;
• Shows willingness to learn;
• Other duties as assigned.
