Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler to support our Facility at Ryder in Lafayette, Indiana.

Weekly Pay: $17.25 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment and create professional relationships at all levels.
• Dependable, punctual, with a good attendance record.
• Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision.
• High level of initiative and accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Follow performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Manage warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
