We seek the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

• Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Products handled: Frozen and perishable foods
• Equipment: Ability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Dependable, punctual, with a good attendance record
• Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision
• High initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Able to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Work safely following health and safety guidelines
• Flexible schedule and shifts availability
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Follow performance measurement guidelines
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Handle warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
