Job description

We are currently hiring Warehouse Material Handlers to join our team! We have multiple openings across three shifts. This is a great opportunity for reliable and safety-focused individuals with warehouse and material handling experience.

Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift – 3 Openings Monday – Thursday | 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift – 3 Openings Monday – Thursday | 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM
• 3rd Shift – 2 Openings Friday – Saturday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Job Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse and production areas while maintaining accurate inventory and shipment records.

Inbound & Receiving:

• Unload trucks, trailers, and freight containers.
• Count products and compare shipments against manifests.
• Inspect shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates.
• Report shortages, damages, and shipping discrepancies.
• Safely move incoming materials to designated storage locations.
• Properly stack and organize products for efficient storage.

Order Picking

• Pick the correct product number, quantity, and type, including lot, batch, and serial numbers.
• Transport materials to shipping and production areas using forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Label, stencil, tag, mark, band, bundle, wrap, and palletize orders as required.
• Verify quantities, labels, and shipping addresses to ensure orders are complete and accurate.
• Move cartons and pallets safely into trailers, rail cars, or shipping containers.
• Assist with outbound documentation and shipping requirements.

Equipment & Warehouse Operations

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Assist with forklift battery charging and pallet organization.
• Operate shrink-wrap equipment as needed.
• Repair, repackage, or consolidate damaged products when required.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas, docks, trailers, and bays.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Enter inventory adjustments into warehouse systems as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience strongly preferred.
• OSHA Forklift certification is a plus.
• HAZMAT certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions with a strong focus on safety.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Comfortable performing repetitive movements using hands and feet.
• Reliable work habits and strong attendance.
