Job summary

Ryder is hiring a full-time Warehouse Material Handler in Etna, Ohio. You will operate a forklift, perform picking, packing, shipping and receiving, and conduct cycle counts while maintaining accuracy and safety.

This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with training provided on the job. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, PTO from month one, and employee discounts on tools, cars and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklift and other equipment; perform cycle counting.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork related to warehouse activity.
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $30.00 per hour when working overtime
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Equipment being used: Order Picker / Dock Stocker

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
