Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Material Handler in Warren, OH, offering weekly pay and a path to a secure career. You will operate forklifts, assist with picking/packing, and support warehouse functions in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent), forklift certification, and 1+ year of related warehouse experience. Training is provided, and flexible shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Must be punctual with good attendance.
• Ability to lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $20.25 per hour
• Shift Pay: $2.00 per hour when assigned to A2 Shift
• Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Wednesday 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
