Overview

Position: Warehouse Material Handler (Full-Time)

Location: Etna, Ohio

Ryder is immediately hiring a Full Time Warehouse Material Handler in Etna, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract and maintain accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to work within a diverse environment.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrates initiative.
• Demonstrates accuracy under pressure and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work on various shifts as required.

Benefits & Schedule

• Hourly pay: $20.00 per hour; Overtime pay: $30.00 per hour when working overtime.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
