Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or until work is completed, with required overtime. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as forklifts or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners to locate and store tires, and assist with inventory control.
  • Consistently lift 50 pounds throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. For commercial tires, team lifts or mechanical equipment are used.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when handling barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Work safely at heights of up to 25 feet on stock racks, operating equipment as needed.
  • Remain on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as required.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety by adhering to all safety policies and operating procedures.
  • Assist other departments, such as e-commerce, inventory, and will call, based on business needs.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by supervisors, with reasonable accommodations as needed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands: Must be capable of safely operating equipment with visual, auditory, physical, and mental fitness. Frequently lift products up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds. Occasionally exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds, especially when handling tires.

Protective equipment required: Steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL. All protective equipment is provided except for boots. Adhere to safety and manufacturing guidelines for all equipment use.

Work environment: Exposure to weather conditions and moderate noise levels. Occasional exposure to fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
  • At least 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Comfort working at heights of 25 feet while maintaining safety standards.
  • Compliance with all safety policies, transportation regulations, and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Ability to pass forklift certification.
  • Willingness to work overtime.
  • Follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test (excluding THC/marijuana).
