Job summary

Job description

Essential Job Functions

• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
• Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM's Core Values.
• Performs basic material handling activities: unloading trucks, receiving parts, material movements, order fulfillment, cycle counts, and inventory error investigation.
• Performs put-away of inventory from vendor as well as manufacturing.
• Maintains traceability on all components picked or stocked.
• Verifies order information to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains inventory controls systematically by recording stock location, amounts of materials or items received or shipped.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.
• Prepares and verifies shipping documents.
• Monitors and recommends solutions to material control problems.
• Maintains quality and condition of warehouse items and facilities.
• Utilizes power lifting equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and work stations neat; sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
• Maintains sufficient knowledge of all equipment used by the department and safety requirements during operation. May assist in counting physical inventory.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Travel Requirements: 0% - 25%.
• Prior forklift operation skills.

Work Conditions

• Position is based out of a branch or site location.
• Duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
• Interaction with other employees, supervisors, and shop personnel.
• Working around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
• Must wear safety equipment as required.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
• Sufficient communication capabilities to communicate effectively.
• Sufficient manual dexterity for routine duties.
• Sufficient mobility and reflexes to perform duties and travel to off-site locations.
• Ability to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment, including access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
