Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking a Warehouse Labor/Manual Labor role in Covington, GA. The position is a 12-month contract on W2 with a 40-hour week and first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities include receiving, picking, labeling, palletizing, and packing shipments using RF technology. Candidates should have HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of warehouse experience, with MHE familiarity preferred.

• May be responsible for operating the ground/manual manifest station.
• Become knowledgeable of other warehouse positions and assist as required.

Job Summary:

• The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehousing/material distribution tasks relative to the shipment of products.
• Job responsibilities consist of hand stacking product from larger custom pallets to 40x48 standard pallet for shipping**

Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)

• Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.
• Palletize orders including scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
• Processes orders using RF technology.
• Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.
• May be responsible for dock manifest duties which include scanning completed pallets and running shrink wrapper.
• May be responsible for operating the ground/manual manifest station.
• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience, preferred.
• Experience with MHE, preferred.

Knowledge And Skills

• Ability to obtain an electric pallet jack certification.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
• General distribution knowledge.

Work Environment: (if applicable)

• The noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions. Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
