For over 60 years, the FBM team has supported the Navy’s mission to provide affordable and credible strategic deterrence.

Our facility in Cape Canaveral has an immediate opportunity for a Manufacturing Support Team Member Asc to join our mission in supporting the FBM Team as a lead for procurement activities, such as generating Purchase Requisitions, tracking procurement status, generating weekly reports for project health, identifying issues, and coordinating deliveries from other LM locations. This position will require daily communication with Subcontracts, Design Engineering, and Project Management to work through supply chain challenges and will also provide opportunities for you to develop creative solutions to complex issues.

What will a typical day in this role involve?

• Support the procurement of required Category 2 material for support equipment

• Generate Purchase Requisitions and work closely with Subcontracts, Design Engineering, Quality Engineering and Project Engineering on the procurement of support equipment

• Interface daily with internal and external customers to communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable partners

• Serve as backup POC for the SE MRP planners and MBOM and Routing Creation
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Fundamental knowledge of planning and/or logistics principles.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple orders or requests.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and should be able to operate in a fast paced, team-based environment.
Desired Skills:
• 0-2 Years of Experience with Supply Chain Management and/or Manufacturing.

• Ability to analyze and understand/interpret drawings

• Experience with SAP or other comparable enterprise resource planning tool

• Understanding of CAT 2 materials

• Experience with FBM MAS and GIR/eGIR tools

• Should be able to operate independently with little supervision after training

• Strong analytical skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
