Qualifications

• One to two-year technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Forklift certification or like equipment experience demonstrating proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for receiving products efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Monitor inventory, ensure order accuracy, drive productivity and upkeep of the facility.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, stocking, organizing materials, maintenance, inventory control.
• Coordinate activities under Branch Manager; train staff for a well-coordinated shipping/receiving plan.
• Schedule maintenance of warehouse equipment with preventive programs and repairs; ensure safe equipment usage.
• Plan, organize and direct loading/unloading of deliveries; route drivers for timely customer deliveries.
• Oversee warehouse safety programs to maintain a safe, clean workplace per OSHA requirements.
• Recommend equipment upgrades to maintain productivity and efficiency.
• Supervise staffing, training, development, performance, and assignments.
