Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate inventory and timely deliveries. This role focuses on safety, efficiency, and customer service across building-material shipments.

Ideal candidates bring warehouse management experience, forklift certification, and the ability to work under deadlines while maintaining high integrity and positive energy. This role is on-site at our Fredericksburg, VA location.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse management experience (preferred).
• 3+ years of material-handling experience.
• Forklift certification and experience driving a box truck (preferred).
• Ability to lead a team and/or work with customers.
• Ability to lift boxes and materials up to 70+ lbs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to new methods.
• High integrity, energy, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Live our mission and values in daily work.
• Manages all warehouse operations including personnel.
• Handles all inventory management tasks.
• Manages loading/unloading of exterior building products.
• Coordinates shipments to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Works with warehouse team on loading/unloading trucks.
• Hires and manages warehouse personnel.
• Approves schedules to minimize overtime.
• Establishes bin locations and oversees cycle counts.
• Ensures order accuracy and safe forklift use.
