Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager for a direct hire role in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will lead floor operations, mentor staff, and drive improvements in inventory control, shipping/receiving, and safety within a fast-paced HVAC distribution environment.

You will oversee daily activities, coordinate with internal departments, ensure OSHA compliance, and perform hands-on duties as needed, including forklift operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
• HVAC parts/equipment wholesale distribution experience preferred.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory control software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Lead, train, schedule, and support warehouse staff while maintaining productivity and safety.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
