Job summary

HHRD is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee regional warehouse operations, safety, and efficiency. The role emphasizes leadership of staff and volunteers, inventory control, and adherence to donor and auditor requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating in-kind donation drives, managing the volunteer database, and ensuring operations meet organizational standards. This is an onsite role based in Norcross, GA, with a focus on community impact and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be present to work onsite in warehouse.
• Available on short notice, including weekends and holidays.
• Associate's degree (or equivalent).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to perform other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regional warehouse is active and efficient to meet IK targets.
• Maintain consistent on-site presence to oversee daily operations.
• Lead volunteers and coordinate inventory with IKD.
• Oversee procurement of supplies and packing materials.
• Manage IK expenditures related to inventory, rentals, and warehouse.
• Plan and execute regular in-kind donation drives.
• Recruit and train volunteers and manage the volunteer database.
• Handle booking requests for consignments in advance.
• Ensure container quality for shipping in-kind gifts per guidelines.
• Build relationships with donors and community organizations.
• Maintain donor database and marketing materials.
• Adhere to auditors' requirements and international standards.
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment with proper procedures.
• Communicate with staff across departments and media.
