Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Manager in the GA, Columbus area to oversee inventory, purchasing, and daily operations for the warehouse team. You’ll ensure accurate weekly inventories, maintain safe and audit-ready facilities, and manage staff scheduling and training.

You will monitor costs and spoilage, support product purchasing for lines of business, and stay current with VendSys and LightSpeed. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes proactive operations management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the day.
• Must be able to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse purchasing and inventory levels, ensuring accurate weekly inventory counts and proper documentation (invoices, requisitions, transfers, etc.).
• Support LOB sales activities including product purchasing, rotation, placement, and mapping.
• Hire, train, and manage warehouse picking staff; oversee scheduling to balance labor needs with employee time-off requests.
• Monitor daily/weekly reports to control spoilage, labor costs, and data integrity; analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, audit-ready warehouse in compliance with safety and food safety policies (signage, forms, SOPs).
• Conduct regular self-audits (pick and warehouse audits) and staff meetings to maintain communication and performance standards.
• Oversee building and fleet vehicle maintenance, equipment upkeep (handhelds, forklifts, racking, etc.), and overall facility security.
• Maintain technical proficiency in internal systems ( VendSys , LightSpeed) and communicate regularly with the Director of Warehouse Operations on needs and updates.
• Step in to perform warehouse personnel duties as needed to support operations.
