Job summary

TEMCo Industrial is expanding its ecommerce-focused warehouse operations in the United States. The role entails leading warehouse teams, planning FBA shipments, and ensuring fast order fulfillment with a strong emphasis on accuracy and reliability.

You will report to the CEO daily, maintain high standards of cleanliness and punctuality, and manage end-to-end inventory activities, including returns and replenishment planning. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience managing people in a warehouse, production or ecommerce environment.
• Very high personal standard of cleanliness and organization.
• Very high standard for punctuality; timelines must be met.
• First to arrive each day and last to leave.
• Will report to the CEO daily without prompting.
• Full-time (40+ hours per week); typical schedule Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Manage order fulfillment associates to maximize daily fill rate.
• Process order cancellations before fulfillment.
• Interview and hire warehouse staff.
• Plan FBA shipments; review dashboards, inventory reports and balance labor.
• Coordinate QC on select products prior to shipment.
• Process returned products and record returns.
• Plan replenishment for solar wire and welding cable with suppliers and accounting.

Who We Are

TEMCo Industrial has been manufacturing industrial products since 1968. Today, we are ecommerce-focused and expanding our line of industrial tools and equipment.

The Job

We are new to Brenham, Texas, and looking for a special individual to run our ecommerce-focused warehouse operations.

You will have a high level of autonomy and will be expected to proactively report on operational performance to the CEO regularly.

Responsibilities

• Manage order fulfillment associates to ensure maximum daily order fill rate.
• Process order cancellations before order fulfillment processes the orders.
• Interview & hire warehouse staff.
• Plan FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon) shipments: review Amazon dashboard, inventory reports and balance labor availability to determine optimum SKU mix and quantity and prepare bulk shipments to be shipped to Amazon warehouses throughout the country.
• Coordinate QC process on select products prior to shipment.
• Process returned products: check-in, classify and record product returns in a timely manner.
• Solar wire and welding cable order planning: review inventory levels, sales volume and production lead times from our wire suppliers then coordinate with our accounting controller to plan replenishment shipments to ensure minimum stock outages and excess inventory.
• Order shipping supplies.
• Inventory tracking & audits.
• Inventory check-in and recording of landed cost.

Important Points to Consider

• Customers can return any item for any reason within one year. Even used or broken items are refunded in full and we pay return shipping.
• Sales via ecommerce are all about delivery speed. You will be expected to do whatever is necessary to get all of the orders out fast, 5 days a week.
• If you need time off, just make sure everything goes smoothly in your absence; we don’t track time off for salaried employees.

Requirements

• Experience managing people in a warehouse, production or ecommerce environment.
• Very high personal standard of cleanliness and organization, setting the standard for the whole operation.
• Very high standard for punctuality; will be asked for timelines regularly and expected to consistently deliver on them.
• Will be the first to arrive each day and the last to leave.
• Will report to the CEO daily without prompting.
• Full-time (40+ hours per week); will work more than 40 hours most weeks.
• Base hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.
• Must be a US citizen or current Green Card holder.
• Background check will be performed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $90,000 per year.
• Includes medical, dental and vision insurance for employee, spouse and children; the insurance premium is fully paid for by us and nothing comes out of your paycheck.
• Options are HMO through Kaiser or PPO of your choice.
