You will drive operational excellence through Lean, 5S, KPI monitoring, and collaboration with Production, Planning, and Transportation teams; requires 7+ years in warehouse roles and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 7+ years in warehouse/logistics with 3+ years in leadership.
  • Experience with WMS and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and staffing.
  • Ensure on-time shipment performance and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Develop and coach supervisors to meet operational targets.
  • Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and costs.

Job Description Summary

Dauch is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team in Claremont, NC. This is a fully onsite position. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations within the Claremont Distribution Center, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate receipt, storage, inventory management, and shipment of materials and finished goods. This position drives operational excellence through effective leadership, continuous improvement, inventory accuracy, and adherence to customer, quality, and safety requirements in a fast-paced Tier 1 automotive environment.

Job Description
  • Leads daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse staffing.
  • Ensures compliance with customer delivery requirements and maintain on-time shipment performance.
  • Manages inventory accuracy through cycle counting, physical inventories, location control, and transaction discipline.
  • Develops, coaches, and leads warehouse supervisors and team members to achieve operational objectives.
  • Monitors and improves key performance indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost.
  • Coordinates with Production, Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Service, and Transportation teams to support business requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with all OSHA, environmental, company, and customer requirements.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Develops labor plans and manages staffing levels to meet operational demands while controlling costs.
  • Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, customer concerns, and operational disruptions.
  • Oversees warehouse equipment, storage systems, and facility organization to support efficient operations.
  • Supports internal and external audits, customer visits, and compliance assessments.
  • Manages warehouse budgets, labor utilization, and operating expenses.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant Warehouse, Logistics, or Distribution experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience within a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, shipping, receiving, transportation, and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of JIT delivery, ASN processing, EDI transactions, and customer logistics requirements.
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, SAP, or similar ERP platforms.
  • OSHA 30 certification or advanced safety training.
