Job summary

Dauch seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead operations in Claremont, NC in a fully onsite role. You will drive safety, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery while coaching supervisors and coordinating with Production, Planning, and Transportation.

Proficiency with WMS/ERP is required and Lean/Six Sigma familiarity is a plus. This position requires 7+ years in warehousing, 3+ years in leadership, and a proven track record of cost control and process improvement in a fast-paced, Tier 1 automotive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant Warehouse, Logistics, or Distribution experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience within a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, and staffing.
• Ensures on-time shipment and compliance with customer delivery requirements.
• Manages inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Develops and coaches supervisors and team members to meet objectives.
• Monitors KPIs: safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Coordinates with Production, Planning, Customer Service, and Transportation teams.
• Drives continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and problem-solving.
• Manages labor plans and staffing to meet operational demands while controlling costs.
• Investigates inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, and operational disruptions.
• Oversees equipment, storage systems, and facility organization.
• Supports audits and compliance assessments; manages budgets and expenses.
