The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, storage, material handling, shipping, and warehouse staff supervision. This role ensures the efficient, accurate, and safe movement of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other inventory while maintaining compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role that actively participates in daily warehouse operations while providing direction and support to the warehouse team.

- Bachelor's degree preferred may consider a HS diploma in lieu of experience
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems; NetSuite experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team while actively participating in warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse Management
- Responsible for managing inventory disposition activities, including obsolete, expired, damaged, or discarded materials, and ensure accurate inventory adjustments within NetSuite.
- Responsible for conducting cycle counts (MO/YR) of all physical inventory in warehouses.
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy of all staged (picking and weighing) WO's.
- Responsible for storage organization of materials with the focus of maximizing warehouse space utilization and accessibility.
Receiving Management
- Oversee and participate in the receiving, unloading, inspection, and verification of inbound materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Responsible for coordinating with Procurement and Quality Assurance departments regarding shortages, damaged goods, non-conforming materials, or other discrepancies; complete all required associated documentation.
Shipping Management
- Responsible for ensuring all shipments are prepared accurately and secured prior to loading onto outbound truck.
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy of shipping documentation such as; pick list, labels, barcodes, bill of lading, advanced shipping notices, and/or other required records.
- May work with various departments to resolve issues such as; inventory availability, back orders, shipping discrepancies, and/or damaged shipments.
Leadership and Safety
- Responsible for supervising, training, coaching, and developing warehouse personnel to ensure productivity and accountability.
- Responsible for ensuring the promotion and enforcement of workplace safety policies
- Responsible for safely operating and overseeing the operation of warehouse equipment such as; forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and secured food-safe warehouse environment.
- Responsible for ensuring proper storage conditions such as; temperature-controlled areas and compliance of food safety regulation standards.
- Suggests to management process efficiencies in warehouse operations, inventory management, and overall warehouse efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all company food safety requirements
- May support cross-functional teams as needed to meet operational objectives.
- May perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Responsible for training warehouse staff
- Responsible for processing employee timecards on time.
