The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Manager to work at our Grand Rapids, Michigan location. You will supervise daily warehouse activities, implement safety procedures, and optimize logistics to maximize efficiency while controlling overtime.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, lift truck familiarity, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to walk, stand, or lift the entire shift.
• PVF knowledge a plus.
• Chauffeur's license is a bonus.
• Some years of related warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all of a warehouse’s daily activities while working to maximize efficiency and minimize staff overtime
• Ensure effective, safe operations by implementing procedures and policies
• Analyze logistics data to increase productivity and aid in loss prevention
• Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
• Implement operational policies and procedures.
• Motivate, organize, and discipline staff
• Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
• Ensure safety of staff
• Possible use of Lift Truck to move materials
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

Work Setting

Grand Rapids, MI

Monday - Friday, day shift

OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM
