At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently hiring a Flow Manager (Warehouse Manager) based in our West Jordan, Utah yogurt manufacturing plant.

This role manages the flow of raw materials and finished goods from receipt to consumption across internal and external warehouses and production facilities. The manager oversees SQCDMN (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Mobilization, and Nature) for the Flow and WMS departments, working closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams. Continuous process improvement is a key aspect of this role. The position reports to the Production Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Communicate safety awareness, maintain safe working conditions, and promote safety improvements.
  • Provide daily leadership, develop growth plans, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Encourage employee involvement and demonstrate Danone Leadership Behaviors.
  • Support continuous improvement and IWS efforts.
  • Oversee cooler, raw pack, and WMS areas strategically.
  • Manage headcount, overtime, and temporary staffing within budget.
  • Improve performance based on KPIs related to inventory, quality, and OE impacts.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, and Finance leadership for operational improvements.
Core Functional Expectations
  • Ensure compliance with Dango (internal control) requirements for inventory control and participate in annual audits.
  • Coordinate with procurement and planning to maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Work with 3PLs to ensure inventory accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Review and approve cycle count adjustments.
  • Drive system improvements for timely production order closing.
  • Lead projects related to inventory, systems, and cost reductions.
  • Coordinate with R&I and operations on new product scheduling and raw material trials.
  • Ensure timely incident reporting and manage the Flow budget.
  • Lead labor scheduling, optimization, and strategy.
  • Perform other duties as required.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related; HS diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum 10 years in food manufacturing, dairy experience preferred.
  • At least 5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing environment.
  • 5-10 years in planning, material/inventory movement, or warehousing.
  • Knowledge of SAP, production, or WMS applications.
  • Experience with lean, process improvements, project management, and team leadership.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and computer skills.
  • Strategic vision, multitasking, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to support a 24/7 environment.
