Job summary

The Odom Corporation in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient product movement. You’ll drive inventory control, workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration with Delivery, Sales, Safety, HR, and Finance.

You’ll oversee receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and equipment management while maintaining budget targets and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related operational experience.
• Three or more years of leadership experience managing supervisors, managers, or operational teams.
• Experience managing warehouse staffing, productivity, safety, inventory, service, and operating expenses.
• Experience working in a high-volume distribution or operational environment.
• Experience using warehouse, inventory, labor-management, or related operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and employees to meet safety, service, productivity, quality, and accountability standards.
• Oversee receiving, storage, replenishment, order selection, staging, loading, and related activities to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
• Monitor workload, staffing, equipment, and capacity; address challenges proactively.
• Identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies across warehouse functions.

Job description

The Odom Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations and ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of product throughout the facility. This position is responsible for warehouse leadership, inventory management, workforce planning, operational performance, and cost control while partnering closely with Delivery, Sales, Safety, Human Resources, and Finance to support business objectives.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Workforce Management

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and employees
• Establish clear expectations for safety, service, productivity, quality, and accountability
• Plan staffing and labor requirements based on operational needs and business priorities
• Partner with Human Resources on recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations activities

Operations & Service Execution

• Oversee receiving, storage, replenishment, order selection, staging, loading, and related warehouse activities
• Maintain operating standards that support accurate, efficient, and timely order fulfillment
• Monitor workload, staffing, equipment, and capacity to address operational challenges proactively
• Investigate service failures and performance variances and implement corrective actions

Safety, Inventory, and Asset Control

• Lead warehouse safety initiatives, inspections, training, and corrective-action efforts
• Maintain inventory accuracy through effective receiving, reconciliation, rotation, and documentation practices
• Ensure warehouse equipment, docks, racking, facilities, and other assets are properly maintained
• Maintain a clean, secure, and inspection-ready warehouse environment

Business, Financial, and Cross-Functional Accountability

• Manage labor and operating expenses within established budget parameters
• Monitor productivity, service, inventory, overtime, and other operating measures
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Communicate operational performance, risks, and resource needs to leadership and business partners

Required Qualifications

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five or more years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related operational experience
• Three or more years of leadership experience managing supervisors, managers, or operational teams
• Experience managing warehouse staffing, productivity, safety, inventory, service, and operating expenses
• Experience working in a high-volume distribution or operational environment
• Experience using warehouse, inventory, labor-management, or related operational systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in beverage distribution, consumer products, food and beverage, or another high-volume distribution environment
• Experience managing budgets, productivity measures, labor costs, and continuous-improvement initiatives
• Experience with warehouse-management systems, inventory-control systems, reporting tools, and workforce-management technologies
