Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee shipping, receiving, and warehousing of all tickets and freight in Solon, IA. The role includes maintaining inventory records, managing warehouse equipment, and ensuring ISO standards are met.

You will assist senior management to improve operations, prepare regular reports, and supervise staff to meet daily distribution targets for retailers while driving cost efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping and receiving of instant ticket stock and other freight to/from the facility.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure day-to-day maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Assist Operations Manager and Director of Marketing to improve cost efficiency and operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse activity.
• Ensure ISO certification standards are maintained across the facility.
• Supervise daily distribution of orders to retailers and training of warehouse staff.
• Set monthly/quarterly/annual goals and KPIs with warehouse clerks and evaluate progress.
• Provide direction and feedback to warehouse staff to prioritize tasks.

Position Summary

• The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the successful shipping, receiving and warehousing of all tickets, and all other freight in or out of the facility. This position is also responsible for managing and maintaining all materials within the warehouse, maintaining related inventory records and handles day to day maintenance for the facility.
• Assist the Operations Manager and Director of Marketing to continuously improve the operation and cost efficiency
• Maintain constant and thorough inventory of all instant ticket stock held at the warehouse facility
• Oversee the shipment and related costs of all daily and new games to the retailers
• Prepare and maintain proper inventory level of all shipping supplies
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested
• Ensure ISO certification
• Supervise daily distribution of instant ticket orders
• Responsible for the training, coaching and counselling of assigned personnel
• Oversee the proper maintenance of all warehouse equipment
• Train, explain tasks and assist in the solution of problems
• Prepare and present reports and other documentation on a timely basis
• Implement key corporate initiatives as required
• Establish monthly, quarterly and annual goals and KPI with each Warehouse Clerk (Package Assembly Tech II), and evaluate at the end of each month
• Provide daily direction and feedback to the warehouse clerks to ensure they have a good understanding of the job and current priorities
