Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer and business expectations.
• Develop and enforce SOPs to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, accuracy and on-time shipping.
• Lead, train and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance management.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Optimize layout, space utilization and workflow processes.
• Coordinate with transportation, procurement and customer service teams.
• Manage warehouse systems (WMS) and ensure data accuracy.
• Control expenses and manage the warehouse budget.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Work cooperatively with others and maintain regular attendance.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution. This role ensures operational efficiency, safety compliance, and accurate order fulfillment while leading and developing warehouse staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, logistics, Business or related field preferred
• 5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, with at least 2 years in leadership role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in high-volume or multi-site distribution environments
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands
