Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a subsidiary of GSF, is seeking a capable warehouse operations supervisor to plan and direct day-to-day transportation, scheduling, and staff deployment in a temperature-controlled, on-site facility.

The role requires 3–6 years in distribution operations, AA degree preferred, and a safety‑minded leader who can work across a 24/7 operation with a focus on efficiency and teamwork. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations including team supervision
• AA degree preferred (vocational/technical accepted)
• Forklift instructor certification a plus
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, food handling, and inventory best practices
• Proficiency in computer systems and reporting (barcoding, warehouse systems, timekeeping)
• Ability to lead a diverse team in a 24/7 operation with a focus on collaboration, safety, and efficiency
• Experience working in (or around) union environments - union background a plus but not required

• Establishes and communicates department goals, monitoring employee performance
• Provides training, development, and performance evaluations of department staff; works with Human Resources to department hiring
• Directs the completion of routing, manpower, and equipment schedules to ensure that organizational KPIs are met
• Coordinates daily and monthly repairs and preventative maintenance for tractors and trailers with Penske to comply with DOT and safety regulations
• Develops, audits, and manages the budget and operations costs to ensure efficient operation

In This Role, You’ll:

• Plans and directs the day-to-day transportation functions, including the work assignments of facility transportation supervisors and clerical staff, to ensure that department standards for efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness are met or exceeded. (25%)
• Establishes and communicates department goals, monitoring employee performance to ensure they are met or exceeded. (15%)
• Provides training, development, and performance evaluations of department staff; works with Human Resources to department hiring to ensure selection of qualified employees. (15%)
• Directs the completion of routing, manpower, and equipment schedules to ensure that organizational KPIs are met. (15%)
• Coordinates daily and monthly repairs and preventative maintenance for all tractors and trailers with Penske for safety, to minimize down time, and to comply with DOT and other Federal and State transportation and safety regulations for all GSF distribution centers. (15%)
• Develops, audits, and manages the budget and operations costs to ensure efficient operation

What You’ll Bring:

• 3–6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including team supervision
• AA degree preferred (vocational/technical accepted),forklift instructor certification a plus

The Schedule & Setting:

• Full-time, on-site supervisory role in a temperature-controlled warehouse
• Supports a 24/7 operation with flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Leads a large-scalewarehouseteam focused on safety, reliability, and service

Pay & Benefits:

• $71,335 - $107,002salary range
• Weekly pay(every Friday)
