Job summary

McCarthy Tire Service is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for our Albany, NY facility. You will oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and coordinate receiving, shipping, and loading activities.

We value hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work safely with warehouse equipment. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and daytime hours in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or inventory management experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Forklift experience and safe operation of warehouse equipment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and data entry.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and prioritize workflow to meet business needs.
• Manage inventory levels, inventory tracking, and cycle counts.
• Coordinate receiving, shipping, loading, and unloading of deliveries.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform and oversee material handling and heavy lifting as needed.
• Utilize computers and warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and data entry.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and productive warehouse environment.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate and communicate daily warehouse activities with other departments.
• Identify and address inventory or operational issues promptly.
• Provide hands-on leadership and support to warehouse personnel.

Location: Albany, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Salary: $50,000–$55,000 per year, depending on qualifications

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Albany, NY warehouse. This is a critical role responsible for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory, coordinating daily workflow, and supporting the overall needs of the business.

The ideal candidate is an organized, hands‑on leader who can effectively manage warehouse activities while also being comfortable working alongside the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities
