Job summary

Action Industries, a Phoenix-based manufacturing and distribution company, seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. This role requires ownership, speed, and razor-sharp accuracy in a fast-moving environment.

The ideal candidate has deep supervisory experience, lean/process-improvement knowledge, and strong inventory skills. Key responsibilities include safety, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure reliable deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse shipping/receiving preferred.
  • Lean training or process-improvement experience.
  • Inventory management skills.
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage warehouse operations to ensure safety, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate shipping/receiving activities and inventory control.
  • Improve processes and drive efficiency across the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams.
  • Maintain performance metrics and safety compliance.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • 5 years Management/Supervisory experience in a fast-moving environment.
  • Warehouse Exp. (Shipping Receiving) Strongly Preferred
  • Lean training/process improvement experience
  • Inventory management skills.
  • Computer proficiency: spreadsheets, data entry etc. SAP experience a plus.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot a broad spectrum of warehouse/manufacturing equipment (punch press, drill press, pneumatic tools, forklift).
  • Supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence.
  • Forklift certification.

Previous experience that is necessary background to qualify for this position:
  • Seasoned level of operations experience within the company.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must regularly lift or move over 100lbs.
