Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a 1st shift Warehouse Manager (Logistics Manager) in Northlake, TX to lead an operations team and manage P&L responsibilities. The role supports a Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule with additional hours as needed, and includes up to 10% annual bonus eligibility.

You will supervise both salaried and hourly staff, partner with senior management and customers, and ensure safety and compliance across the distribution account.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
• At least 3 years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• 2+ years in managing direct reports.
• Excellent knowledge of transportation/warehouse operations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage salaried and hourly staff and resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to align on needs.
• Oversee payroll for employees.
• Analyze weekly and monthly P&L and present to senior management.
• Handle accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.

Location and Schedule

1st shift Warehouse Manager internally titled, Logistics Manager in Northlake, TX for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and additional hours and days as needed to support business needs. Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts.

Compensation

Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month. Annual Salary Pay: $90,000 to $97,000. Bonus eligibility: 10% annual bonus eligibility.

Pay Type: Salaried. Minimum Pay Range: 90000. Maximum Pay Range: 97000.

Job Summary

The Manager Logistics is responsible to manage all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts. This includes P&L responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations and safety.

Essential Functions

Manage the performance of salaried employees as well as hourly paid employees under his/her responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations and operate the account to meet those demands.

Be responsible for the payroll of employees.

Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statement to determine account profitability, and provide financial data and weekly operations report to senior management.

Be responsible for accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.

Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

H.S. diploma/GED required.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.

Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.

Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports required.

Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations. advanced required.

Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements. advanced required.
