Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Manager in Apopka, FL to lead and optimize a large warehouse operation.

You will mentor a sizable team, drive process improvements, and coordinate with senior leaders to meet client needs in a fast-paced distribution center. The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of warehouse logistics, and the ability to manage payroll, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
• Three years+ experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry field.
• Two years+ managing and leading direct reports.
• Advanced knowledge of transportation or warehouse logistics operations.
• Advanced knowledge of safety and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of salaried and hourly employees; resolve issues and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to meet needs and expectations.
• Be responsible for payroll of employees.
• Analyze weekly/monthly P&L; provide financial data and ops reports to leadership.
• Handle accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Lead safety meetings and training; ensure safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned; flexible with shifts.

We are hiring a Warehouse Logistics Manager in Apopka, FL supporting Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division.

• Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
• Annual Salary Pay: $85,000-$90,000
• Annual Bonus: up to 10% of base salary
• Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday
• Hours: 5:00pm-5:00am

Extensive warehouse leadership, knowledge, and process optimization experience is preferred. Success in leading, mentoring, and developing large teams is highly desirable. Experience managing in a large distribution center is preferred.

Essential Functions

• Manage the performance of salaried employees as well as hourly paid employees under his/her responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations and operate the account to meet those demands.
• Be responsible for the payroll of employees.
• Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statement to determine account profitability, and provide financial data and weekly operations report to senior management.
• Be responsible for accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.
• Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts.

Compensation Information

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
