Job summary

Diamond Precision is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager in Milwaukee, WI to lead daily shipping, receiving, and material-handling operations on-site. The role will oversee a team, coordinate truck schedules, and ensure accurate inventory control, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

The position is full-time and hourly/nonexempt, primarily first shift, with some weekend support as needed. Reports to the Director of Supply Chain and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in supply chain, logistics, or business preferred.
• Five or more years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience coordinating carriers, truck schedules, and inbound and outbound shipments.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, and material flow.
• Experience using an ERP or warehouse-management system; Epicor experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping, receiving, storage, staging, and material-handling activities.
• Lead, train, schedule, and develop shipping, receiving, and material-handling employees.
• Establish daily priorities and ensure adequate coverage across shifts.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound truck schedules, carrier pickups, and deliveries.
• Ensure customer shipments are accurate, properly documented, and shipped on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and system transactions.
• Oversee cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate material availability and movement with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Service.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse using 5S and continuous-improvement practices.
• Track warehouse performance, including on-time shipping, shipping accuracy, inventory accuracy, and receiving turnaround time.

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Pay Range: $28.00–$34.00 per hour

Position Overview
