Job summary

ICC is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, drive safety, quality, and efficiency across receiving, inventory control, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping. You will lead supervisors and staff, set priorities, and ensure staffing alignment with demand.

This role requires at least three years of progressive warehouse leadership, strong knowledge of ERP/WMS, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Experience with receiving inventory control, picking, kitting, packing, and shipping operations.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse productivity, quality, inventory control, and safety practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, and ability to learn ERP/WMS.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations, performance, safety, quality, and efficiency of the warehouse. This position provides leadership to warehouse supervisors and assigned employees across receiving, inventory control, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for staffing, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, employee development, process improvement, and compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable customer requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and efficiently.
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and assigned warehouse employees.
Establish priorities, allocate resources, and maintain appropriate staffing levels based on operational needs.
Monitor productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and other key performance indicators and take corrective action as needed.
Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, training, and development.
Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and selection of warehouse personnel.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, quality management systems, and customer requirements.
Promote a safe, clean, organized, and productive work environment.

Salary Range

$90,00-$100,000. Pay commensurate with experience

Requirements

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead supervisors and warehouse employees.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, picking, kitting, packing, and shipping.
Ability to establish priorities, allocate resources, and manage multiple operational demands.
Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills.
Ability to monitor productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and other operational metrics and take appropriate corrective action.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, management, and cross-functional teams.

Ability to coach, develop, motivate, and hold employees accountable for performance.
Working knowledge of warehouse safety practices, quality requirements, and compliance standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, and ability to learn applicable ERP and warehouse management systems.
Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement practical solutions.
Adaptability, dependability, sound judgment, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three years of progressive warehouse leadership experience, including at least two years of direct supervisory or management experience.
Demonstrated experience supervising warehouse employees and managing multiple warehouse functions.
Experience with receiving inventory control, picking, kitting, packing, and shipping operations.
Working knowledge of warehouse productivity, quality, inventory control, and safety practices.

Preferred
Experience managing warehouse supervisors or multiple warehouse departments.
Experience in military, aerospace, defense, electronics, or another regulated distribution environment.
Experience with inventory traceability, lot control, serialization, or customer specific requirements.
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, including 5S.
Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
Associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, operations management, or a related field.
Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be a U.S. Person defined as: U.S. Citizen, Any individual granted U.S. permanent residence, granted status as a “protected person” under 8 U.S.C. 132b (a) (3); corporation/business/organization/group incorporated in the U.S under U.S law; or part of the U.S. government.
Ability to work independently and safely.
Ability to work varying hours based on operational requirements, staffing needs, and customer commitments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, operate a motor vehicle and forklift (if position requires); strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity to perform activities such as: inspecting manufactured parts (with and without magnification), preparing/analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to distinguish colors and color variation of physical parts and components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings. Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator. Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The position operates in both warehouse and office environments and may be exposed to moderate noise, moving equipment, forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, lift trucks, conveyor systems, and other warehouse equipment.

The position may occasionally involve exposure to chemicals or other materials associated with warehouse operations, depending on the facility and assigned responsibilities.
