Job summary

Pomp’s Tire Service in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Warehouse Manager to drive daily operations and optimize inventory, order tires, and maintain a safe, organized facility.

You will oversee layout, rotation, loading/unloading shipments, and partner with teams to ensure on-time delivery. Prior AS400 experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required; CDL class A is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of the AS400 system.
• Knowledge of the commercial tire market, including sizing and application.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, and move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Order tires to maintain inventory levels.
• Organize warehouse layout for space efficiency.
• Oversee inventory rotation to ensure stock control.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Order tires as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Organize and arrange the warehouse layout to maximize space efficiency
• Oversee inventory rotation to ensure proper stock management
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations

What You Need:

• Basic understanding of the AS400 system
• Deliver tires to clients and service centers as needed
• Knowledge of the commercial tire market, including sizing and application
• Ability to analyze sales data and forecast future demand
• Class ‘A’ CDL preferred
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical capability to lift, push, carry, and move up to 100 pounds
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
