Pomp’s Tire Service, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver to support daily warehouse operations and assist with deliveries as needed. This role focuses on inventory control, loading/unloading shipments, and providing reliable service to customers and client sites.

The position involves occasional driving duties, safe forklift operation, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Comfort working in various weather conditions is expected.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation is preferred and requires safety awareness.
• Strong inventory management helps track stock and rotations.
• Delivery duties involve safe, on-time handoffs to customers.
• Proficiency with handheld scanners for inventory control.
• Effective communication with customers and co-workers is essential.

We’re looking for a Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver to join our team and play a critical role in our daily operations. This dynamic role plays a vital role in both warehouse operations and product deliveries as needed. This position will primarily support our warehouse team, with occasional driving duties to assist with customer deliveries.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate a forklift in line with company training and safety protocols
• Manage inventory rotation to ensure proper stock levels
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments efficiently at both Pomp’s and client site locations
• Use a handheld scanner to accurately track and manage inventory
• Stand in as a delivery driver as needed, ensuring safe and timely product deliveries
• Deliver products in various weather conditions when covering routes, maintaining a clean, well-functioning delivery vehicle during use
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Additional tasks as assigned by manager

What You Need:

• Valid Driver’s License with ability to pass pre-employment driver’s file
• Ability to drive a forklift, experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift, push, carry, and/or move a maximum of 100 pounds
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
• Ability to read and verify work order information
