Job summary

Southern Air LLC in Lafayette, LA is seeking a self-motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee HVAC and plumbing warehouse and consignment operations. The role is paid hourly and includes opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

You will coordinate scheduling, manage inventory levels, handle refrigerant usage, and prep job folders. Proficiency with Service Titan and strong organizational skills are essential; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC & Plumbing Warehouse and Consignment Operations.
• Coordinate scheduling and task assignments.
• Provide weekly consignment updates, monitoring inventory levels and ordering as necessary.
• Secure and manage refrigerant usage, maintaining a usage log.
• Create and organize comprehensive job folders with necessary documents and materials.
• Verify changeout sheets with management and technicians, reporting any discrepancies.
• Utilize Service Titan and company email for job-related communication and information.
• Stage equipment and materials for jobs in advance, ensuring readiness.
• Assist with fleet maintenance and coordinate AirGas orders, while operating a forklift for various warehouse tasks.
• Maintain parking lot cleanliness and manage trash disposal schedules.
• Arrange main dumpster pickups and oversee scrap material management.

What You Will Do

Who You Are

• 1 3-5 Years warehouse or logistics experience preferred

• Ability to handle heavy equipment
• Forklift certification preferred
• Experience with inventory system preferred
