Job summary

Duggan Mechanical Services is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of materials. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and cross-department collaboration to support company operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of materials and goods.
  • Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Check incoming and outgoing orders, inventory, bills, and deliveries for accuracy.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation for inventory and deliveries.
  • Perform daily warehouse inspections and ensure upkeep and organization.
  • Manage and evaluate warehouse productivity, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Report on operational metrics and challenges to management as needed.
  • Ensure timely preparation of any required documentation or reports.
  • Oversee the coordination and maintenance of vehicles and warehouse equipment.
  • Ensure equipment operates safely and effectively and report any maintenance issues.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure fulfillment of material needs.
  • Support interdepartmental projects and logistics coordination as required.
  • Champion and uphold corporate safety standards across all assigned job sites.
  • Execute routine safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate safety risks; implement corrective actions in real time.
  • Verify field personnel are trained, equipped, and consistently utilizing required PPE.
  • Partner with the Safety Department to roll out safety initiatives, monitor compliance metrics, and support incident investigations.
  • Demonstrate leadership by modeling and reinforcing a zero compromise, safety first culture at all levels of field operations.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing goods. This role manages warehouse staff, monitors inventory levels, ensures timely delivery of materials, maintains safety standards, and collaborates with other departments to support company operations. The ideal candidate is organized, hands‑on, and committed to maintaining an efficient, safe, and productive warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management


  • Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities to ensure smooth operations

  • Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of materials and goods

  • Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory levels

  • Check incoming and outgoing orders, inventory, bills, and deliveries for accuracy

  • Maintain proper records and documentation for inventory and deliveries

Productivity & Reporting

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a related leadership role

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Effective communication with drivers, staff, and management
