Diamond Roofing Co., Inc. is hiring a hands-on Warehouse Manager for our Syracuse operation.

You will be the sole warehouse employee and manager, performing maintenance, inventory control, forklift operations, loading/unloading, and transport of roofing materials to job sites. You will build processes, ensure safety, and maintain an organized yard while coordinating with teams and adhering to OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have Driver’s License and possess or be able to acquire Department of Transportation Medical card which will require physical and drug testing
• 4+ years’ experience with equipment and small engine maintenance
• Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
• Experience delivering construction or similar materials
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office apps)
• Strong drive, initiative, and reliability - you’re the only warehouse person
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
• Must be able to work in environmental factors that include noise, dust, hot weather, and cold weather; indoors and frequently outside
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and gangways on a frequent basis and be able to work while standing on a continuous basis
• Ability to safely work aloft (heights over 20’) including ladders, man lifts, harnesses, equipment tops and scaffolding

• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including OSHA regulations
• As the only warehouse employee and manager, other responsibilities as needed or assigned to support warehouse and business operations

We are hiring a hands-on Warehouse Manager to join our team in Syracuse. We are a small operation so you will be a “do-it-all” type of person. Whether it’s performing equipment maintenance, warehouse operations, inventory management, forklift operation, loading and unloading materials, driving construction materials to and from job sites, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment, you’ll have your hands in everything. You’ll build process and tracking for the warehouse.
