Capsa Healthcare is seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations at our Canal Winchester manufacturing facility. In this onsite role, you will oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of inbound and outbound products, ensuring that all receiving, storage, and shipping processes meet our high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and lead times. Leading a team of 10-20 employees, you will drive continuous improvement, maintain inventory accuracy, and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
Location: Canal Winchester, Ohio
Schedule: Primarily 1st Shift (periodic overtime and weekends as needed)
Operations Leadership: Direct all daily warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, returns, and parts fulfillment.
Team Management: Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of 10-20 warehouse employees. Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and provide hands-on training to ensure peak performance.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze departmental data and metrics to continuously improve business processes and support the overall quality management system (ISO, 5S).
Logistics & Freight: Oversee the preparation of freight quotes, bills of lading, and shipping labels. Coordinate pickups with freight carriers in compliance with routing guidelines.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in strict compliance with OSHA, 5S principles, and corporate safety policies.
Inventory & Equipment: Ensure absolute accuracy for incoming/outgoing shipments and electronic/paper records. Inspect warehouse conditions and manage equipment maintenance or replacement.
Experience: 5–10 years of leadership experience in warehouse, shipping, or logistics environments.
Education: College degree is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like 5S, Lean, or Six Sigma.
Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Work Ethic: A dependable leader with consistent attendance and a commitment to maintaining a safe, drug-free workplace.
