JOB SUMMARY

MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE. The Warehouse Manager oversees logistics operations, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The Warehouse Manager will also oversee the daily operations of shipping and receiving, ensuring efficient movement of goods, maintaining accurate records, and leading a team in a warehouse environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Overseeing operations by managing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of materials and products.
  • Tracking and tracing the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Entering all outside process Purchase Orders (P.O.) including holding job order until job comes back from the supplier, putting P.O. on traveler.
  • Receiving and processing transactions in ERP upon receipt.
  • Coordinating with transportation vendors to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
  • Training and mentoring new staff on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
  • Providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Preparing outgoing shipments for delivery, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all shipments and transactions.
  • Resolving issues related to distribution, including delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records, participating in periodic inventory counts, and ensuring proper storage and organization of materials.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of distribution activities and implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS, and TRAININGS
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • At least 2 years’ experience with shipping in a manufacturing setting.
  • OSHA Safety Certification preferred.
  • Must possess experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with Quick Ship required.
  • Experience with ERP Epicor preferred.
  • Microsoft: Office 365; SharePoint; Teams; Visio; and OneNote preferred.
  • Ability to operate media equipment such as tablets, smartphones, and other electronic equipment.
  • Ability to work with general office equipment.
  • Ability to work with and understand databases a must and the ability to learn technical skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Shall have essential physical skills; be able to run, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, be able to lift at least 50 pounds (or ¼ own body weight).
  • Shall have adequate vision, reading, writing, and documentation skills, and hearing to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Must have enough endurance to perform tasks over long periods of time.
  • Will be engaged in speaking, sitting, walking, driving, listening, and in communicating both orally and in writing while performing his or her duties.
  • Must be able to listen and respond to questions and instructions.
