Job summary

L&R DISTRIBUTORS is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Monroe, NJ to monitor, maintain and repair facility infrastructure and equipment. The role requires certification in forklift and elevated platforms, and availability for scheduled hours to meet customer demand.

The technician will develop maintenance programs, oversee procurement, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, productivity, and service.

Qualifications

• Must have strong computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee maintenance programs including preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Manage procurement of new equipment or spare parts as needed.
• Identify risks to operations and implement practical solutions.
• Maintain records systems and ensure compliance with policies.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on EHS, Quality, Cost, Productivity, and Service.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, motors, forklifts, and related systems.
• Coordinate with on-site contractors and ensure safety and efficiency.
