Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year forklift maintenance experience or 2 years general mechanic work.
• Completion of technical training or mechanical-electrical courses.
• Hazmat training and certification required.
• Basic computer skills for email, internet searches, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to safety standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and repair as needed.
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records in the CMMS.
• Test safety equipment and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
