Job summary

Core-Mark International in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, adjustments, and routine maintenance of warehouse facilities. You will work on electrical and mechanical systems, conduct inspections, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment.

This role supports the Facilities Manager, with responsibilities including upkeep of building systems, safety checks, and completing Work Orders; strong problem solving

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year maintenance or related experience.
• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures/noise.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and plan daily tasks.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and prepare required supplies.
• Maintain warehouse and keep areas clean and safe.
• Assist Facilities Manager with installations, modifications, and maintenance projects.
• Perform PMs on equipment including conveyors and powered industrial trucks.
