Job summary

Ryder in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Technician to keep warehouse equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform routine lubrications, repairs, and preventive maintenance on manual and automated systems in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and strong hands-on maintenance experience, with good organization and communication skills. Training is provided and benefits are offered from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance programs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine lubrications, repairs and troubleshooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist and monitor work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Operate equipment if required and obtain necessary certifications.
• Handle special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $24.00 per hour




• Schedule: Training will be Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:30 pm




• After training the shift will either be Sunday-Wednesday 6am-4:30pm or Wednesday-Saturday 6am-4:30pm
