Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Etna, Ohio. This role focuses on maintenance and preventative maintenance for warehouse equipment in a clean, well-run facility, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will perform routine lubrications, repairs, and inspections, work with contractors, manage inventory controls and preventive maintenance procedures, and ensure safety standards are met across the site. Overtime, shift pay, and a supportive team culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete all routine lubrications, repairs and trouble shooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $27.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $40.50 per hour
• Shift Pay: $2.00 per hour
• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday 3:30 pm to 12:00 am (depending on business needs)
