Ryder System, Inc. in Etna, OH seeks an Inventory Clerk to contribute to accurate inventory control in a fast-paced warehouse. The role offers weekly pay, paid training, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k), and PTO from day one.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, audits of inbound/outbound shipments, supporting supervisors, and resolving discrepancies while maintaining GMP compliance and safety. This is a regular-full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read location, date and product codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Provide floor support to supervisors and hourly staff regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $18.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $27.00 per hour when working overtime
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime may be mandated according to business needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices

Responsibilities

• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Performs other duties as assigned.
