Ryder System, Inc. in Franklin, IN is hiring a Material Handler/Warehouse Forklift Operator. The role offers weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) plan, PTO from month 1, and a strong safety-focused environment.

Typical schedule is First Shift, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:30pm, with opportunities for overtime. You will work with stand-up/sit-down forklifts and related warehouse equipment in HVAC product handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Support maintenance of automated packing systems during core shift hours.

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour


• Overtime Pay$30.00 per hour

• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production


• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract


• Performs other duties as assigned.
