Job summary

Avalon Services Group, Inc. is seeking general warehouse labor for our distribution center in Michigan. The role offers an hourly wage of $18.03 and a Monday–Friday shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Background check and drug screening are required. Responsibilities include sanitizing work areas, maintaining warehouse and office cleanliness, and adhering to safety guidelines while supporting overall site operations. Prior janitorial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize work areas.
• Ensure maintenance of warehouse areas, parking lot, and offices.
• Ensure cleaning is performed beneath storage units.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks on time.
• Sweep and mop warehouse floors.
• Clean bathrooms.
• Follow safety guidelines.
• Refiling eating stations.
• Keep housekeeping inventory up to date.
• Manage waste, including keeping garbage containers clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as needed.
