Job summary

Avalon Services Group, Inc. is hiring general warehouse labor for our distribution center. The role centers on cleaning, keeping warehouse spaces clean, and supporting site operations with a focus on reliability and safety.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with Weekend & Emergency coverage as needed; hourly rate is $17.00. Benefits are offered, with opportunities to grow within a national staffing network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize work areas
• Ensure the maintenance of the warehouse areas, parking lot, and offices.
• Ensure cleaning is performed beneath the storage units.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks on time
• Sweep and mop warehouse floors
• Clean bathrooms
• Follow safety guidelines
• Refiling eating stations
• Keep up with housekeeping inventory
• Manage waste, including keeping garbage containers clean and organized
• Perform other duties as needed
